The third and final installment of our wine-filled week consisted of six vineyards. We had initially only planned to visit four or five, but having met a group of nice ladies at the first one of the day and then running into them at every subsequent stop (getting friendlier and laughing more with them each time, lol) made it enticing to forge ahead…so that’s what we did.
I’m so very glad, too, because I had wanted to get to the last one on the list, Habersham Vineyards, since we started “vineyard hopping” last summer. Little did I know the wonderfully delicious surprise in store for us!
10. Cavender Creek Vineyards & Winery (Dahlonega)
11. CeNita Vineyards (Cleveland)
12. Yonah Mountain Vineyards (Cleveland)
13. Serenity Cellars (Cleveland)
14. The Cottage Vineyard & Winery (Cleveland)
15. Habersham Vineyards & Winery (Helen)
Nicest bottle tree I’ve ever seen. The colors are so pretty!
We’ve been to Cavender Creek about three times now, and they always bring in crowds. It got much busier by the time we left.
They usually have excellent cheese boards/plates, but this one fell a little short. Beggars can’t be choosers though. I was just glad to get some nourishment in me before commencing with the day’s wine consumption. Nothing worse than drinking on an empty stomach. 🤢
It was a nice surprise to find bread and olive oil waiting for us.
The Cottage Vineyard is one of our favorites because of their gorgeous views, relaxing outdoor seating, and delicious port-like wine!
These are what you think they are…edible chocolate cups!! Our last of the fifteen vineyards…what a perfect way to end an outstanding week!
That’s port wine being poured into them…and they’re about to get devoured!! Ohhhh yeaahhh…
This was definitely the highlight of my week! Mmmm…
Overall, it was a fantastic week…that is, until we got home the first day and noticed that one of the vineyards gave us the WRONG bottle of wine!! They have since corrected it by shipping us the one we had requested, plus we got to keep the other which turned out to be a delicious mistake. 😋
