Being a huge foodie, I love to photograph and write about delicious food and drinks I’ve consumed at restaurants and festivals, or recipes I’ve created myself. In this new “Anxious Angie Eats” series, I will be sharing some of my standout eateries, starting with Dunwoody GA. These are located in and around Atlanta’s Perimeter area. As I return to these restaurants and take more great photos, they will be added to this post. 😋

An award-winning restaurant and bakery offering a massive selection of high-quality items made from scratch such as freshly prepared foods, gourmet sandwiches, baked breads, handmade pastries, a market, and much more! It’s much too easy to overindulge here, especially at all the drool-worthy prepared foods, as you will see from the photos. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating, including coffee and wine bars.

Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, this European-style coffeehouse offers many diverse menu options such as all-day breakfast items, soups, salads, sandwiches, hand-spun crêpes, pasta, a plethora of desserts, and more. I can personally vouch for their spinach & artichoke crêpe…it is insanely delicious! They also have a 65-page beverage menu of over a hundred choices, both with and without alcohol…whaaat?! I could spend hours perusing that menu (feels like I have!).
2458 Mount Vernon Road
A European café offering outstanding coffee and espresso, homemade comfort food, and decadent pastries. With plenty of tables and comfortable seating available, it’s easy to pass the time here. Their lattes are some of the best around! Ok, I know I entitled this series “…Eats”, but these lattes are too good not to share! A taste of Italy in Dunwoody…who knew?

Awesome tapas, creative cocktails, live music, and dancing set the stage for this vibrant Latin restaurant with a fun, cool vibe and loads of character. Half-priced tapas and well drinks are offered Monday through Friday from 4-6PM. Voted “Best Happy Hour” by Jezebel Magazine, “Best Tapas” by Creative Loafing for 15 years running, “Best Place to Take a Date” by Atlanta Magazine, and “Top 50 Restaurants” by the Atlanta Journal Constitution, this extraordinary place is not to be missed!
5592 Chamblee Dunwoody Road
A modern and casual Italian restaurant serving classic and unique dishes made with imagination, care, and love makes this one of our all-time favorites. We discovered them during restaurant week this year, and ever since, there was no turning back! Their menu consists of many tantalizing items to tempt the taste buds such as various appetizers and salads, handcrafted pastas, an extensive array of… Well, why not read my full post here!

Without a doubt one of the finest upscale Asian chain restaurants in existence. Living by their Farm to Wok philosophy, they use only the freshest and highest quality of ingredients in all of their wok cooking, and everything is made from scratch everyday. They keep reinventing themselves with creative and exciting new menu items that I have yet to try, but I always seem to order the Chang’s Spicy Chicken, because it is just that good!
90 Perimeter Center West
With an enticing menu that changes weekly using locally-sourced ingredients, this upscale restaurant delivers on exceptional quality, taste, creativity, and service. We’ve gone several times, including last Thanksgiving. Their “Sunset at Seasons” menu is offered from 4pm to 6:30pm Monday through Friday consisting of $5 small plates, specialty cocktails, select wines, and beer at reduced prices. They also have appealing seasonal menus, which is one of the things I love most about them, because I get to try creative twists on some of my favorites. Oh, and their seasoned bartenders craft some uniquely delicious cocktails. Believe me, I know. 😉
