Are you hungry for more of my restaurant critiques? It’s been over a month already since my last one, so I think it’s time. This fourth installment in the “Anxious Angie Eats” series includes standouts of mine located in Johns Creek and Duluth GA. I just added a fifth entry today (Feb 16, 2018), Stone’s Cuisine and Cocktails in Johns Creek.

Carrabba’s Italian Grill*
2030 Sugarloaf Circle
Without a doubt, Carrabba’s is our favorite Italian chain restaurant, and for good reason. Their scrumptious food and tasty cocktails consistently deliver on great flavor and quality, and the service is top notch. We always dine at the bar, where the bartenders become our friends. They are by far the most accommodating restaurant we’ve ever been to, no matter which location we visit! Read my full post here.
Luciano’s Ristorante Italiano*
6555 Sugarloaf Parkway
The very day I got the green light from my gastro doctor to resume my regular diet after six weeks of a restricted diet following reflux surgery, Luciano’s is where I decided to go to make up for lost time. And boy, did I ever! This was all from one visit…I don’t know how I survived eating all that without busting a gut. Well, my husband and I shared everything, but it was still a lot to consume considering I hadn’t eaten like that in six weeks (I don’t believe in taking things slow. 😬)
Egg Harbor Café*
10270 Medlock Bridge Road
Specializing in gourmet breakfast and lunch creations that are healthy, unique, and flavorful. Dine in a warm and charming country setting with fast, friendly, and efficient service. This is one of our go-to breakfast places or when we want to treat visitors to something special. Two of my favorites pictured below are the Quinoa Breakfast Bowl (which I get pretty much every single time!) and Pumpkin Pancakes with Cinnamon Butter (seasonal).
Napoli 1 Pizza
10305 Medlock Bridge Road
To be transported to Italy for a true taste of Napoletana pizza, you won’t find it more authentic than here! Crafted of the finest ingredients imported from Italy, their pizzas are cooked to perfection in wood-fired ovens made from volcanic stone in Napoli, Italy. I mean, even their ovens are imported! The two times I’ve been, my taste buds rejoiced bite after sensational bite! They also offer salads, gelato, pastries, fine wine, and beer. What more could you ask for?
Stone’s Cuisine and Cocktails
3719 Old Alabama Road
Sometimes change is a good thing…a very good thing. Although we were initially disappointed when one of our favorite restaurants went out of business, to be replaced with this treasure is the best I could’ve hoped for! Positively some of the most incredibly delicious, creative, and beautifully presented food I’ve had since moving here. Seriously, I don’t even remember that *other* restaurant. 🤔 Haha
