The inspiration for this Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Latte comes from Café Intermezzo. Even though I just had one there yesterday, I wanted to make my own version. Using my very last Nespresso pod and the last of my homemade peanut butter, I went for it. This decadent liquid dessert contains the following:
- Peanut butter
- Dark chocolate chips
- Caramel syrup
- Cashew milk
- Cocoa powder
First, I smeared a generous amount of peanut butter on the inside of a large mug, then placed some dark chocolate chips in the bottom, added a shot of espresso, a squirt of Starbucks’ caramel syrup, poured in my homemade cashew milk, and topped it off with a sprinkling of cocoa powder.
Man, was it sensational! Using a spoon to devour the peanut butter and chocolate chips is mandatory for this one. This is definitely one for the books.
As with many of my recipes, I whipped this up spur of the moment, not intending to post it on my blog. But how could I not share this one? It’s too good to keep to myself. If I had whipped cream on hand, I would have added it for even more deliciousness…but somehow I managed without it. 😄 Enjoy!
This decadent liquid dessert can be enjoyed warm or chilled. It is so yummy and satisfying!
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
